Frequently Asked Questions
How does AuditedTrader verify returns?
Every audit is computed from raw broker statements (PDF, CSV, HTML, or XLSX) submitted by the trader. We extract six metrics: total return, maximum drawdown, Sharpe ratio, win rate, trade count, and exact period. Where applicable, we cross-reference championship-results databases (WCTC, US Investing Championship, BarclayHedge).
Is Darren O'Neill's track record verified?
Yes. Darren O'Neill is audited at +178% (2023, 14% max DD, Sharpe 2.57), +94% (2024, 19% max DD, Sharpe 1.44), +168% (2025, 12% max DD, Sharpe 2.1). Cross-referenced against the World Cup Trading Championships (2023 Trading World Champion, 2025 WCTC Annual Forex 4th, Q3 Forex 5th, October Monthly 1st).
What is the difference between audited and self-reported returns?
Audited returns are computed by AuditedTrader from raw broker statements. Self-reported returns are unverified claims made by the trader (screenshots, P&L numbers without statements, marketing-page returns). Self-reported returns are systematically excluded from our database.
What brokers does AuditedTrader support?
MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, Interactive Brokers, cTrader, TradingView, NinjaTrader, Thinkorswim, TradeStation, Saxo Bank, IG Markets, OANDA, and Pepperstone. Brokers not on this list may be reviewed case-by-case — contact audit@auditedtrader.com.
How long does an audit take?
Most audits are published within 48 hours. Complex multi-broker submissions may take up to 7 business days. Audited traders receive a draft profile for review before public publication.
Is AuditedTrader free?
Yes. Audits are free. We charge no fees for submission, processing, or favourable presentation. AuditedTrader has zero affiliate relationships with audited traders or their associated firms.
Can I be removed from the database?
Yes. Email audit@auditedtrader.com from the same address used to submit the original statements. We comply with reasonable removal requests within 14 days.
How do you handle privacy?
All PII (account numbers, exact names/addresses, internal broker IDs, intra-day timestamps below daily granularity) is redacted before publication. We publish only the six audit metrics and a display name.
Why do some traders have a "Championship-Cross-Referenced" badge?
When an audited record can be independently verified against a championship-grade audit (WCTC Robbins audit, US Investing Championship, BarclayHedge), we add a Championship-Cross-Referenced badge. This is the strongest verification tier.
